    Veneered wooden wall panels are more difficult to make, however, they are more aesthetic: They use all the beauty of the color and pattern of wood.

    Already during the harvesting of wood in the forest, he is professionally assessed, which trees will be processed into veneer. Veneers and veneers in the professional nomenclature are also called veneers. Correspondingly, the term veneer replaces the term veneer. Selected tree, the so-called. veneer, it is characterized by high quality and minimal defects. After heat treatment (evaporation) the veneer is made on the scrapers, whose thickness ranges from 0,6 do 3 mm, most often, however, is 0,8 mm.

    After drying in a dryer, individual boards are stacked in bundles, just like they were cut. The position of the panel in the bundle corresponds to the position of the panel in the log. This enables the creation and various combinations of the so-called. figure, who are never alike and always different. At first glance it seems, that all the lobes in the bundle have the same drawing. But this is only an illusion. Only two lobes adjacent to each other in the bundle have a truly identical drawing, in a mirror image. All other lobes in the beam have gradual deviations in the drawing. However, they are so small, that they can be omitted. When veneering, however, we must remember about them and always connect only two adjacent panels.

    The production of a variety of veneered wooden panel elements is interesting, requires accuracy and is worth reading. The production technology is slightly different from the production of solid wood panel elements. However, veneering makes it possible to expand the range of covering elements, e.g.. on wall shelves, radiator covers, curtain rods, cabinets etc..

    Construction rules

    The veneer sheet itself, it does not have a wider application. So it is glued to the construction boards, e.g.. chipboard, carpentry, plywood etc., and under certain conditions even to solid wood.

    Layer symmetry. One of the basic principles of veneering is the symmetry of the layers, both in number, and the thickness of the veneer. Both sides of the board must always be veneered, even though it seems superfluous. If we only veneered one side, the item will warp (will twist). On the reverse side, veneers of lower quality can be used (beech) e.t.c., but it has to be there.

    Drawing. Veneering rules: the veneer must be glued on both sides: a) the direction of the wood fibers of the veneer glued to the chipboard can be any (but the top and bottom veneers must follow the grain pattern), b) the direction of the wood fibers of the veneer glued to the blockboard must be perpendicular to the panel fibers; the same principle applies to plywood, c) the direction of the wood fibers of the veneer should be consistent with the fibers of the solid wood plank to be covered

    The direction of the veneer fibers. When veneering a chipboard, the direction of the veneer fibers may be arbitrary (Lynx. a). Blockboard or plywood is veneered differently. The direction of the veneer fibers must be perpendicular to the fibers of the outer veneer of the blockboard (Lynx. b). Solid wood veneer must have a grain that follows the course of the wood grain (Lynx. c).
